Our first order of t-shirts are finished, and I wanted to tell the story of how the image for my sister, Tricia Nadler’s shirt came to be. We are using it to raise funds to help support the financial burden of this terrible disease of Stage lV Lung cancer. Some of you know I do something called prayer art in my quiet time with the Lord. I sat down with Jesus and was just praying and talking and seeking Him specifically for my sister this night. He immediately gave me a picture of a flame, which expanded into the image of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah also in the flames. He is roaring and vanquishing His enemies and anything that comes up against His children. He is our protector. His crown highlights the 3 crosses of Calvary, as well as the all consuming yet creative fire of God. He is King of Kings, Who is like the LORD our God, the One who sits enthroned on high Psalm 113:5 He is also our healer and our salvation. There is a subtle J and S in there that to me represents Jehovah Shalom, the God of Peace where nothing is broken and nothing is missing. As I painted it He came alive in the flames. As I painted, the red pencils became as blood which is so significant of Jesus blood and what it is doing for my sister, her family and for us. My sisters heart is a blaze with the fire of God and hidden in him so close. The feather represents security in Him. The scripture Jeremiah 32:27 was given to Tricia from the Lord a couple of weeks prior to the image being created. This scripture was also illuminated to me by the Lord where there was no doubt this was what a God wanted to use.

Psalms 57:1 Be gracious to me, O God Be gracious to me, for my soul takes refuge in You; and the shadow of Your wings I will take refuge until destruction passes by.

Psalm 91: He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.

Psalm 97:3 Fire goes before him and burns up all his foes.

Hebrews 12:29 For our God is a consuming fire.

Deuteronomy 31:8 The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
